About us
How it began
audienzz is a digital advertising specialist based in Zurich. The company was established on 1 April 2016 as a standalone spin-off of NZZ and has since evolved from a sales house into a technology-driven AdTech provider serving publishers, agencies and direct clients throughout the DACH region.
How it’s going
audienzz now operates as a group, with locations in Zurich (headquarters); Tolochenaz, covering western Switzerland; Berlin, Munich and Nierstein, serving the German market; and Vienna, covering Austria. Establishing a regional presence was a deliberate decision to bring audienzz closer to publishers, agencies and clients within the respective language and economic regions. The group is supported by audienzz AG (Switzerland), Netpoint Media Germany GmbH, the now fully acquired ad-monitoring platform Zulu5 and digital agency Attackera, which joined the group as an independent subsidiary in October 2024.
Neutrality
audienzz employs more than 120 people, including more than 30 software specialists. Although NZZ remains a key partner and shareholder, audienzz purposely operates independently and neutrally in relation to all publishers, marketing a portfolio of more than 600 premium websites across the DACH region.
